The Diamond Gear declutch gears are “sandwich” style declutchable worm gears, designed to fit between the actuator and the valve. It works as a safety mechanism with pneumatic actuators, providing manual override capabilities when air supply to the actuator is interrupted, allowing users to operate their valve when the actuator fails. These gears are ideal for critical applications where an emergency situation may arise.
